Who We Are

ACE is a group of 75+ developers, business analysts, and IT professionals working to support & advance analytics and Duke Health.  We are a certified Stage 7 HIMSS AMAM (Analytics Adoption Model for Analytics Maturity) organization.

Analytics is the engine for excellence, growth, and innovation as Duke Health strives to be best-in-class for patient-centered care, care delivery transformation, and knowledge discovery.  

 

ACE Guiding Principles

Empowerment:  Embed the analytics culture at all levels of staff within Duke Health and in patients by demonstrating the value of analytics.

Openness with Information Security:  High-quality data must be easily accessible to multiple stakeholders with the appropriate protections.

Reusability:  Data, tools, and processes must be built to scale by making them reusable by multiple stakeholders.

Data Stewardship:  Data are best suited to be owned by stakeholders closest to their use.

Partnership:  Structure analytics to support partnership between stakeholders (e.g. clinicians) and IT, and partnership with industry and academic leaders.

Agility and Sustainability:  Organizational needs, technology and industry partners will evolve.  Must build agility and sustainability into our platform, and ensure the appropriate leadership oversight as analytics evolves.
